Jake Paul’s former sparring partner, Anthony Taylor, believes Nate Diaz won’t be able to handle his power.

The pair finally meet this weekend in what will be Diaz’s first professional boxing bout after a long MMA career.

Taylor has shared many round in the ring with YouTuber-come-boxer, Paul, and thinks his power will be all too much for Diaz.

Speaking to Neue Online Casinos he said,

“I hear Jake Paul is looking superhuman in this camp.

“He’s training with killers and there’s no question he’s going to send Nate Diaz into retirement.

“Respect to Diaz, he’s had a great career, but he’s not going to know what’s hit him when Jake detonates on his chin.

“I’ve tasted Jake’s power and his right hand hits like a baseball bat.

“Given Diaz’s age and how much smaller he is compared to Jake, I don’t see how Diaz can stand up to that kind of firepower.

“He’s got as much chance of winning as Francis Ngannou has of beating Tyson Fury.

“He’s got two hopes: Bob and none. If he makes it out of the third round I’d be surprised. Don’t blink.”

How do you think the fight will play out? Let us know in the comments.

  1. I hope Diaz uses his brain, his skill, and moves around JP, make him do all the work coming forward, Diaz can slip and counter to the torso for 4 rounds, staying away from JPs advantages, once he seems to have lost a fraction of a second, Diaz can start to turn it around with aggressive combinations, still putting one in the bread basket every now and again, wear him down, slow him down and then knock him down, at the right pace, with the right game plan, Diaz can not just beat him, but he could school him in the process!
